PSAC Critical Illness Insurance - Premium Rates
Coverage is available in units of $10,000.
Premiums are based on the applicant's age, sex and smoker status. Premiums increase as the individual progresses from one age band category to the next.

Example: A male, non-smoker, age 35, requiring $100,000 of critical illness coverage (10 X $10,000) would pay a monthly premium of $20.20 (10 X $2.02). A female, non-smoker, the same age would pay a monthly premium of $23.00 (10 X $2.30).
