Canada Post Labour Disruption
Dear Valued Clients and Plan Members,
As you may be aware, Canada Post is in negotiations with the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW). While both parties maintain diligent focus on resolving outstanding issues to reach negotiated agreements, CUPW has launched a national strike, effective September 26, 2025. This national strike will cause postal delays. Canada Post's operations will shut down during this national strike, which will affect clients and plan members across the country.
While much of Coughlin's business is conducted via digital means, there remains the possibility of impact to plan members who have not adopted these tools and applications. As always, we remain committed to providing our customers with the service they need, when they need it. During the Canada Post service disruption, customers may:
- Request Information or Assistance, via telephone or via e-mail (see contact information, below).
- Pre-Authorized Payment plan to ensure the payment of monthly premiums, please complete the following form and return to our office by email or fax, along with a copy of a void cheque.
- Supply Plan Documentation via E-mail. Please contact us to learn more.
Coughlin's office in Ottawa remains open during regular business hours, in the event that members wish to receive assistance in person.
We encourage you to contact Coughlin & Associates if you have any questions related to this, or any other matter.
